Turkey Wrap Up

Image
We had the most wonderful {really cold} weekend up in Davis. We flew up on Thanksgiving day and Emma had her first flight. She did amazing! Not a peep out of her, all she did was give us little smiles and nod off for a bit. She even got a first flight certificate and had the pilots and the flight attendants sign it! We got in late but enjoyed an amazing home cooked feast, prepared by the chef extraordinaire Nancy and her little chefs/decorators, Bruce, Anni and Chris, and Rohmer. They did a great job {as usual}. We dined on everything imaginable, so much that I can't even list it out! During our stay we snuggled, played games, watched movies, visited with friends, ate scrumptious leftovers and enjoyed relaxing.

The Alphabet

The alphabet has never looked so appealing. Why oh why Anthropologie do you tempt me to spell out words with all sorts of ridiculously cute lettering.

Lanvin Line

Image
Lanvin has created a amazing line for H&M right now. The line is mostly black, red and cream for Men, Women and Kids. And the best news is it's at an affordable price point. I would love to wear either of these dresses accessorized with a wrap and black tights to a New Years Eve party... and maybe I could dress Emma up too! For me: For Emma:

This is my typical afternoon walk along the bluffs overlooking the ocean, it's amazing! How blessed are we to live here, seriously gorgeous!

Grill-tastic!

Image
Kyle is at the point in his life when he is finally old enough, 30 to be precise, to man up and get a grill! So that's what we did, the family pitched in and we bought him a sweet grill for his birthday. And the grill-tastic Mr.Fenderson helped him lung it back from the store and put it together. I think it suites him don't you? ...get grillin'!

The newest member

...of our family is here! Sweet little Cody Jacob arrived last week weighing 8 lbs 4 oz and is 21 inches long. We had a great time up the coast visiting with our family and meeting him. He is just darling! He has the smallest little {raspy} cry, you can barely hear him, so cute! Mommy and baby are well, and little Cody's big brother, big sister and cousin Emma are loving him to pieces. We stayed in SLO and visited the hospital throughout the weekend. But Saturday afternoon we decided to take a break and headed back to Diane and Burt's gorgeous house where we drew hearts for each other and sipped on hot chocolate by the fire.

The Tattoo

Image
So about a month and a half ago Kyle finally got his much needed tattoo fix. He had been planning it for a while. About 9.5 months to be exact. He got a tattoo for our sweet baby girl. Here's the final:

Fall Festival

Image
This past weekend we went to a Kid's Costume Party and Fall Festival at our friends house in Culver City. While our original costumes didn't pan out (okay, I don't quite fit into my old clothes the way I planned to at this point) so we ended up just dressing Emma up as a little pumpkin, per the previous post. The kids ran amuck (well most kids, Emma slept!) while us parents ate yummy snacks and socialized. We had a great time! {photos compliments of the talented Kim Pellegrino}
