Family photo outtakes

Image
We didn't do traditional family photos this season, which I was super bummed about, but we honestly couldn't muster up the dolla-bills or the time to figure out when we could even do it... so we headed to daddy's work and took a few quick snaps. It was totally (well almost) a complete waste, we might have one photo that looks good from the whole camera roll, but hey, one is better than none right!? And after viewing all the photos, I think if Em gets some height to her she might have a pretty decent modeling career... she was soooo good at posing!!! Now if only our camera worked properly... Here are my few favorite outtakes from Em, I think they are so cute (to me!) *updated photos below!

Fa, La, La... 2014!!

Thankful hearts!

Image
We are so incredibly thankful for well, everything! Our {gold} thankful tree {ahem, branch} this year had quite a few of the same things that we were thankful for last year. But let's be real, the main "thankful" things will probably always be there.... Love, God, Family, Friends, ... oh and Em's bestie, Piggy!! :-) Psalm 9:1-2

My little loves

We are getting into the holiday spirit around here.... I know, a bit early! Yikes, I can't help it. I always swear I will wait until after Turkey Day to get all Fa, La, La, but this year I totally broke my rules. Em took this photo of boo boo and I, isn't she getting so much better!? I hope Santa brings her her very own camera, she would be soooo into it.

Sneak Peak!

Image
Em and I have been getting our craftiness on with some gold spray paint, over here. Here's a sneak peak of a small portion of our glittery centerpieces we are working on. Note my stylish inside-out shirt, showing everyone I'm super serious about my crafting!

Weekend in the Bay

Image
We spent the weekend up in the bay area with some good friends of ours. We ate ridiculously delicious meals, drank super hipster coffees, visited Fairyland, went for an evening sunset stroll to "Arondelle" had a homemade steak dinner, movie night and went to the Zoo!! We had the best time catching up with our old friends. Marta & Tony, you guys are the best and truly made our weekend so wonderful, we love you!!   We survived the kiddie-fairyland!!! Arrrrrrondelllll Eeeeee, sunset!  The next morning, silly zoo shenanigans! Boo boo was all tuckered out and actually slept in the car for the first time!!

A little someone...

got a hold of my phone... And these are her artistic take on our little quiet time that day.

Here you go, Mom!

Mice, Power tools, and the staged hold up!

Image
How funny is this photo? We were carving pumpkins last week, had our monster mash tunes blaring and then mid-carving, Em and Kyle staged a pretend hold up. :-)

Halloween Overload

Image
Our trick-or-treating lasted multiple days. Here is our belated recap from the holiday we just love dressing up for, the Halloween overload! We literally said "Who wants candy?" and then this happened, even Coco got into it... Obligatory family photo! And we're off for downtown trick-or-treating! The next day we headed down to see our SM crew and trick-or-treat with the cousins. Em was so pumped, after each house she would run to me and yell "they have candy, I got candy" can you tell that candy is not a part of our regular diet!? :-)  Oh and we all just barely missed the torrential downpour of rain at the end of the night with only about 5-10 minutes to spare, soooo very thankful we made it back in time! In case you can't tell {uh, you can't!} Emma dictated our outfits and she made sissy be a "frozen-angel-fairy girl" hmmmm. And she begged for me to be Anna and Kyle to be Olaf, so at ...
