Flourish + Fun

Little Em and Daddy had a special ice cream date together while I rested at home. It was so sweet, Em got pink vanilla ice cream and couldn't have been happier having some special one on one time with her beloved Daddy. :-)

Our sweet little Ava was welcomed into the world last week. After they diagnosed me with preeclampsia, the doctors decided to induce me, 5+ weeks early! Surprise! The labor was very long with a really slow start and a quick race to the finish! After just 3 pushes we met our lovely, very healthy baby girl. She is a tiny peanut, so they've been keeping watch over her at the NICU in the hospital. It has been extremely hard on us not being able to bring her home, well especially hard on me. Not to mention we are exhausted from running to the hospital every few hours to deliver her milk, and the late night and early morning trips to the hospital to visit our little angel have been a challenge with a toddler in tow. But we are so thankful that she is healthy and doing well! We can't wait to bring her home soon.
