Flourish + Fun

Updates via my {old} iPhone. :-) An Auntie D drop by... She is pretty good at writing her name, with a little tracing help. PJ party, girls only, in the lovely makeshift tent we built... Ava's first!  Uh yeah, do you see that, did you notice our Bumbo loving little lady? Uncle Jay's missile launch! Yes, you read that right, my brother in law is a rocket scientist.  And a quick weekend trip to SF and Calistoga for a special Birthday boy {more to come soon}...

The past few weeks have been jam packed with sleep training (kind of), laundry, spit up, and cloth diapers! ;-) Exciting right? Well we have had a few fun events in between, which you'll see below... Daddy/Daughter date night! Complete with dinner, dancing, pink cake, a special necklace and lots of snuggles from her daddy! An overnight camping trip to Montana De Oro with a few of the cousins! Coders and Emmers were obsessed with their juice boxes and head lamps! It was so cute. These two are starting to interact more, which is super fun! Em looooooves her baby sis! We are sort of adjusting to being a 4 person family, and our little Ava over the past few days has f i n a l l y (am I jinxing it?!) started acting like a "normal" baby with less colic, less reflux, less tummy/gas issues, and best yet, she is becoming faster at nursing!!! We are hoping we are turning a happy corner!

Our little peanut is already four months old. Isn't she lovely!?! xx

We had a Blowout Birthday Party at our local Gymnastics joint for Em and all of her toddler friends, along with the cousins. We let her tell us her top 10 friends that she would want to invite, and so the guest list was set. It was insanely fun for all the kiddos, everyone had hot pink cheeks by the end of the gym time and needed lots of water. So it's safe to say everyone probably slept really well that night, they were wiped out! ;-) Wiped out!!! Cake time! Thank you everyone for coming, we loved having you! Afterwards, we headed to our place for cake with our family and a balloon throwing extravaganza....

My sweet little Emmy turned 3 years old this past week... Emma Loves: Kirra and Brielle, her best buddies from Pre-School Running around with her friends Dance class at Church Dressing up, like she's going to work with heels on and her laptop in hand Swinging on the playground Counting her numbers Matching her alphabet letters with their sounds, she's a smarty pants Warm milk in the mornings, still Talking, talking and more of her unstoppable talking Playing with all of her friends, ahem, her stuffed animals Eating blueberries and artichokes Her cousins! Negotiating with us for treats, she's good Art, art and more art, she can't get enough Mommy, Daddy and Ava... most of the time!
