It's-It. It's Summer.

Something about this last weekend made me feel like summer was finally here. And after a 6-mile run through Santa Monica and up Rustic Canyon, it was definitely time for a summer dessert.

I used to love It's-Its as a kid. The dark chocolate-covered creamy vanilla ice cream sandwiched between perfectly toasty oatmeal cookies is what it's all about. Isn't it? It is. It's-It?

Just watch the slow progression of contentment take over…
