Happy Fallentine's Day!
We haven't really celebrate Valentine's Day since we got married, mainly because our wedding anniversary is the same week, but also because it's basically a manufactured commercial holiday (down with the man! – hahaha) that pretty much forces you to express your love to your significant other on one particular day which is something we should be doing with our S.O.'s on a regular basis anyways, right?
Starting this year, we decided to create a new lovey-dovey holiday to celebrate instead, one that's on our own terms and (hopefully) doesn't fell so forced or doing-it-because-our-culture-tells-you-you-have-to-or-else-you-don't-really-love-the-person, uh, or something… so, welcome Fallentine's Day, the first day of Fall! A day to celebrate the new season, love, snuggling, scarves and hoodies, fireplaces, Autumn leaves, and hey, let's face it, flowers chocolate are SOOOO much cheaper this time of year ;-)

Happy Fallentine's Day!
Right back at ya, Slick! Happy Fallentines and Festivus for the rest of us.
