One day...

We will look back on this Christmas time and remember that we survived!!! ;-)

We survived the stomach flu, the constant crying, Ava's teething, sleepless nights, Em's pneumonia, and handling all of our actual responsibilities and workload. We have so much on our plate at all times, that if there is any slight disruption it feels like a bomb went off.  BUT we will survive and make it through, we have to right?! ;-) We will one day look back on this craziness called "parenthood" {and parenthood with a toddler and infant nonetheless} and probably miss it, and the moments that these needy {cute} little people create.

One of these sweet moments happened last night, amidst the chaos. Em put on a Christmas CD all by herself! She then called us all into the living room and asked if we could all get together as a family and dance, snuggle and kiss!

My heart just melted, our sweet 3 year old is such an angel. Not by our doing, but she really just came to us that way. She has a heart of gold.

So of course, we obliged and after about 20 seconds in she was onto the next activity, true to toddler form. But that 20 seconds was the BEST EVER!!!

  1. For unto us a child is born... Blessings to all of you. So looking forward to seeing all of you on Christmas morning. Love,
Dad... P.S. We don't mind if you travel by donkey, on foot, or in your Prius... There's lots of room in the Inn.
