He Says: Listen to This!

Thanks to our buddy Tony Riggins at Nettwerk Music for hooking us up with these new albums. Not only are they great tunes, but I can listen to them with Lisa in the car and she fully enjoys them too!

This is a mix of singer/songwriter and digital music, think Alexi Murdoch meets Postal Service, all performed by one amazing Brit. We got to see James perform live at the label. He's totally nerd-core and totally rad.

Expansive, bright, folky, fun. Those are words I'd use to describe Great Lake Swimmers. They're a mix of Snow Patrol vocals, Fleet Foxes' Renaissance-like throw-back-ness (yes, it's a word I just create, deal with it), and some other wonderful 60s/70s folk band that I don't know about.
