A Visit from the Omlors

Tuesday evening we had a short but sweet visit with my (Kyle) best friend from college, Teddy, his wonderful wife Elizabeth, their darling daughter Harper Rose, and Teddy's brother, the Angelino turned Portlandite with a penchant for pirate mustaches, Robbie. We grabbed some sandwiches, salads and soups at Panera and rolled back to the house for an impromptu driveway hang, longboard ride, sunset beach scope, new song preview and CD burning party.

But alas, all good dreams must come to an end and so, after playing the guitar, bouncing the ball, snuggling with the teddy bear, posing for the camera and one diaper change later, it was already 9 pm and time for Harper and the rest of the Omlor clan to sail the good ship Corolla back to the Inland Empire where they will spend the rest of the week with family before heading back to Chico.

The silver lining in all of this is that Robbie will be around for the next month or so as he decides what to do with his life after (thankfully) losing his job with the IRS. Will our blog once again be graced by the presence of his Mustachioed likeness? Only time will tell…
