The Magic Castle

The Magic Castle is a elite members only club that is both a restaurant and magic show extravaganza. We've been wanting to check it out for a while now, but trekking it out to Hollywood is not exactly an easy feat. The Magic Castle was everything we had hoped, weird, quirky, wonderful and amazing... all at the same time. It was founders night, so Neil Patrick Harris {the President} was there, along with troves of other elite members. 

The dress code is formal so cocktail dresses and suits are the only options. And there are absolutely no photos/cameras allowed, but we asked for one photo before the magic bookcase let us inside. 



After seeing a women getting chopped in half, floating bodies, bowling balls coming out of nowhere, rings linking together in front of our eyes, magic cards, we were in awe! It was incredible!

Waiting for the Castle Valet, it was a full moon...


I wonder how they did all of that... hmm.

    Live it up! When you get to SLO all we have is a swinging bookcase at Mission Thrift--and that's just 'cause it is broken.
