Busy, busy, busy...

This year, Christmas is coming wayyyy toooo fassst! We cannot believe that it is just around the corner and will be happening next week. Where did the time go? We have been busy, busy, busy!

Our tree made an early appearance this year and showed up the day after Thanksgiving! With only 3 weeks from Thanksgiving to Christmas, we had to move fast or we felt like we'd miss it.



Em and I had a mommy-daughter date night out to see cousin Cassidy's play at The Spot Theater in AG.  Afterwards hit up Doc Burnstein's for some amazing ice cream sundaes!



We threw a Birthday party for Jesus to celebrate His coming and the life, joy and peace that He brings to us and our family. We did this with our small group from church and enjoyed some carols, cupcakes, and coloring the manger scene. We read a special kids book on how we feel about the King and what it means in our hearts. My favorite part of the night was hearing the little kiddos pray out loud and thank God for "mommy & daddy, friends" and all sorts of other sweet little things that are important to their little hearts.

Em prepped for the party and made sure all of her friends had party hats!


Oh and last, but not least, Silly Stocking Girl made an appearance at our house the other night... :-)
