Baptism

Little Em was baptized this weekend at our home church. We were really excited to share the day with family and friends. We invited our family down to share in the moment with us, and were so blessed to have a ton of family and friends show up. Our pastor Mark did a wonderful prayer over Em before he christened her in front of the congregation. She even showed up on the big screen. She was all dolled up in our families traditional dedication dress that all of my sisters and I wore. It was so special to see her in it.




It was a very special day to us. As parents, we really feel it's important to be intentional with how we raise little Em, and this was a public dedication, prayer and proclamation of how we vow to raise our daughter. To raise her in God's love, seeking truth, joy and faith.

    Emma's baptism dress has held up well. It is now 35 years old! The pastor personalized The baptisms well.
